Bruce Markowitz

Bruce Markowitz, Founder of DCMTA is the Co-Founder, Managing Partner and General Counsel of Tanager Holdings, LLC, an international holding company that invests in “Green” and sustainable companies throughout the world. Bruce had practiced law for over twenty-five years as a corporate and business partner in major international law firms before creating Tanager in 2008. He holds degrees from the University of Rochester (BA), the State University of New York at Albany (MPA)and the Washington College of Law (JD) where he served as an Editor of the Law Review. Bruce, the second oldest of six brothers born and raised in Buffalo, New York gives credit to his late father Cantor Morris Markowitz and his brother Joel for instilling in him a love of music, film and theatre of all genres. He is looking forward to working with Joel and his talented group of writers and editors. Bruce is married to Petrina Markowitz, a highly respected real estate attorney and is the proud father of Brian (and his wife Jenna), both grads of Duke University who reside in New York City and Eric, a student at Syracuse University majoring in Business. Bruce is also a die-hard Buffalo Bills fan which has given him years of frustration and jubilation - more of the former than the latter
