Oh, yes! This 90-minute show, directed and choreographed by Jenny Male, unfolds into a fast-paced, tumbling Ferris wheel of music, movement and light. You can bank on Doris Baizley’s version to beautifully honor but radically shake up Dickens’ timeless, sentimental holiday staple (including Scrooge, Tiny Tim, Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, Future, the Cratchits, Marley and more) BUT WITH A SURPRISING TWIST.
THE SURPRISE: A theatrical spin retells the story through the eyes of an acting troupe full of juggling clowns, charming lovers, masked revelers and an array of other unforgettable characters. This production is stacked with enchanting and moving storytelling, dancing, singing, live hand-bells as well as original music, costumes, lights and more… bringing the story truly home… into your heart and the hearts of your entire family in a fresh, new way.
This is NOT AC’s first time on the A Christmas Carol Ferris wheel – the story re-mounted:

Moving forward eight years, AC wanted to work a holiday block buster into its 18th season… and after reviewing many scripts, remounting this version of A Christmas Carol with Male at the helm made perfect, magical sense.
