Captain Blappten and First Mate Kate want YOU to join their crew. See the Earth shrink to the size of a tennis ball as you take off, and see the sights – from Mercury to Pluto and back to Earth.

Kaleidoscope Theatre Company is proud to present Kids in Space, opening July 13 at the Goethe Institut Gallery in Washington, D.C.

Kids in Space features Bethany Michel as Captain Blappten and Kathleen Mason as First Mate Kate.

“Space is a fun subject for kids, and we hope that they will enjoy this awesome space adventure,” said Rob Cork, Artistic Director, Kaleidoscope Theatre Company, who is also directing this production.

“I’ve been a space geek since I was a kid, and this was a great opportunity to merge my interests in space and theatre. Kids in Space has been in active development since last year, and thanks to the members of our company and local playwright and actor Mario Baldessari we’ve got a fun script to bring to the Capital Fringe Festival,” said Cork.
